MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING




CO-OPERATION TO ENHANCE GENDER DIVERSITY




Having identified gender equality as a common area of interest, CONSIDERING the mutual benefits and the need to strengthen the representation of women in leadership position inside the companies DESIRING to establish an environment with gender equity for opportunities in the infrastructure and energy sectors; ENDEAVOURING to enhance gender equality and diversity in leadership positions.

ARTICLE I

OBJECTIVE


The objective of this Memorandum of Understanding is to establish the basis for a cooperative institutional relationship to encourage and promote gender equality in the infrastructure sector.



ARTICLE II

MODALITIES OF COOPERATION


Cooperation under this Memorandum of Understanding may take the following modalities:

  1. GRI’s commitment to increase the number of female members inside the club;
  2. GRI platform will highlight women's work and achievements and create a database of women in different countries to promote their participation in the leadership positions within the companies;
  3. GRI’s commitment to increase the number of women in discussion panels in its summits, conferences and online meetings, giving equal opportunities;
  4. GRI will facilitate meetings among leaders who may have synergy in the development of initiatives for the promotion of gender equality;
  5. Company’s endeavor to design in due course a program to increase the number of women inside the company in all organizational levels, especially in leadership positions. The program shall comprise assessment, target definition, action plan and results measurement.


ARTICLE III

ENTRY INTO FORCE


This Memorandum of Understanding will enter into force on the date of the (last) signature by the Parties and shall remain in force unless otherwise agreed between the Parties.


ARTICLE IV

AUTHORIZATION FOR USE OF IMAGE


By signing this Memorandum of Understanding, I hereby permit and authorize GRI Club to use my name, my company's name and logo for purposes related to the GRI Women in Infrastructure Committee, including publicity, marketing, and promotion of such Committee and its various activities without compensation to me or my company, including, but not limited to video presentations, news releases, e-mails, brochures, social media posts, placements on website, publication, or promotion on any and all other media.


In witness whereof the undersigned, being duly authorized thereto, have signed this Memorandum of Understanding.
